DANCE TECHNIQUE & MOVEMENT 101
This ground based class incorporates dance movement and technique fundamentals for all levels. Dance Technique & Movement 101 is a phenomenal option for students interested in learning the correct and safe ways to manipulate their own body, memorize and execute phrase-work, practice improvisational tools, experiment with various partnering techniques and flow, while enhance their flexibility range, strength and body awareness.
GROUNDED AERIAL® BUNGEE: Our GROUNDED AERIAL® Bungee Classes create the opportunity for you to FLY! This amazingly fun combination of fitness with modern dance, teaches both dynamic and graceful movements aided by a bungee and safety harness. Movements augmented by the bungee are incredibly empowering, rewarding, and addictive. Come move and dream without constraint and both literally and figuratively take your workout & dance to the next level!
BEGINNER SILKS: This beginner version of our multi-level class consists of a group warm-up followed by aerial warm-up on the silks, which focuses on building strength and endurance. The class then progresses to basic climbing and basic moves on the silks. It combines the rigor of aerial silks training with the fun and artistry of aerial dance.

INTERMEDIATE SILKS: Group warm-up followed by aerial warm-up on the silks, which focuses on building strength and endurance. The class then progresses to choreography & intermediate level sequences on the silks where the student will learn safe aerial choreography using musicality and artistry to encourage the students to also focus on the performance aspect of aerial arts. It combines the rigor of aerial silks training with the fun and artistry of aerial dance.

LYRA FUNDAMENTALS: Work on the fundamentals in this lyra class. Students will start to develop the core strength and flexibility required for Aerial Hoop – aka Lyra – while working on various skills including mounts, spins, swings and dismounts. 60 minutes (coed)
LYRA: In this multi level class we will work on building strength & flexibility, while working towards progressive moves and combinations using the hoop apparatus – aka Lyra – including mounts, spins, swings, dismounts, sequences and balancing skills.
INTERMEDIATE LYRA: In this Intermediate level class we will be focusing on exploring individuality while building choreo & linking progressive moves (including spins, swings, balancing skills & drops) with transitions and music. 90 minutes (coed) *prerequisites - must have unassisted: straddle back, pull over to bottom bar, cleanly invert from inside hoop (from bottom to top & knee hang. BEGINNER AERIAL HAMMOCK: In this beginner level class, from a single point, this is where we learn & build a foundation for our Aerial Hammock practice. We'll work on items such as conditioning, mounts, dismounts, transitions while challenging our balance. Beginners will move towards learning how to flow together poses and movement while gaining strength and improving flexibility.
AERIAL HAMMOCK: In this multi level class, from a single point Aerial Hammock we will utilize the fabric to challenge our balance, build strength, alignment and flexibility. Beginner students will work towards piecing together poses and transitions to flow & create a beautiful dance. For Intermediate students the emphasis will be placed on learning creative combinations, dynamic movements, drops and sequencing.
TRAPEZE: In this multi level class students will learn mounts, dismounts, inversions, tricks, climbs and balances on the bar and the ropes - while working towards sequencing. It is highly recommended that students wear form fitting clothes with coverage behind knees, upper arms and back. Static trapeze is fun, full body work out.
POLE FUNDAMENTALS : Perfect for newer students or students wanting to work on perfecting the basics. Pole Fundamentals emphasizes a deeper connection to one’s body through the art of pole dancing. Each week, class will consist of a warm-up followed by personalized pole dance instruction. Learn how to safely perform beginner spin combos, beginner climbs & beginner inverts. We will continue to cultivate dance flow, routines and transitions. This course is designed to help cultivate one’s personal dance style, sensuality and body awareness.
AERIAL YOGA: Decompress your mind & spine in Aerial Yoga. Developed from the mindfulness of the Asana poses of Hatha Yoga...With the use of hammocks and the ground, our Aerial Yoga Class incorporates traditional yoga poses, pilates and aerial moves to increase flexibility, help you into deeper & supported stretches and allows for easier inversions. The perfect mix of fun, challenging and relaxing!
DEEP STRETCH & FLEXIBILITY: This Is our Multi Level Stretch Class. Come strengthen and lengthen those muscles - in this class we'll use active and assisted stretch techniques to unlock your body's range of motion! Let's square your side splits, flatten your straddle, deepen your backbends and open up your shoulders. This is an all-levels class suited for new students looking to gain flexibility, as well as those interested in beginning contortion.
KIDS AERIAL CIRQUE CLASS: Aeriform Arts' Youth Aerial Arts program has been designed to introduce young kids and teens to the world of Aerial Performance and fitness. In addition to traditional conditioning and dance training, students will also be taught skills for Aerial Cube, Hammock, and Aerial Hoop (Lyra). This program emphasizes the importance of the fundamentals of aerial movement, safety, as well as creating an environment of self-expression for each student to discover their inner performer. Children ages 9-11, will spend time building strength, flexibility and work lower to the ground to begin acclimating themselves to aerial movement. Children ages 12-15 (or students with a previous aerial practice) while still focusing on the fundamentals of conditioning, strength, and flexibility, will be able to work higher off the ground and have a stronger focus on presentation and performance. 60 minutes, coed
