The ex-gymnast turned to pole & aerial classes and became more confident and reconnected with herself. Wanting to share her new found empowerment and love of the movement Aeriform Arts was born! Amanda began performing at three years old. By the age of seven she starred in a local South Florida children’s show, KidZone. Her passion for performing blossomed and before she attended high school she was offered the opportunity to study with the Joffrey Ballet School on scholarship. During her academic schooling, Amanda worked full time performing with the Ft. Lauderale Ballet Classique. But after graduation, her desire to travel the world led her to run away with the circus as a headlining aerialist/dancer with shows such as: Dezire, Cirque on Ice and Four Spirit of the Elements. In 2009 until May 2015 she made the bright lights of Vegas her home performing with Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity and Michael Jackson ONE. You can see find her at the studio teaching Lyra & Silks!
Amber is a Los Angeles based dancer and aerialist with over 15 years of professional performing experience. After taking her first dance class at the age of 2 she knew body movement would be her life. She received extensive classical ballet and modern dance training at the University of Louisville School of Music, dancing in their pre professional program. In 2003, Amber moved to LA and fell in love with aerial performing. Seeing this flight based art form as another extension of her dance background, she sought coaching from Judith Flex of Luminario Ballet and Aloysia Gavre of Cirque du Soleil.
Amber found her yoga practice while seeking ways to heal her body after a performance injury. Experiencing the healing properties of yoga first hand, she wanted to share this type of healing with others. Looking to bridge the gap with all her movement styles Amber began teaching aerial yoga, completing an aerial yoga certification with Levity Aerial Yoga and the Yoga Alliance. You can catch her at the studio teaching Aerial Hammock, Lyra & Aerial Yoga.
Jordan is a California-based pole dancer and instructor. She discovered pole dancing from a Youtube video in the summer of 2012 and, with no prior movement experience, decided then and there that she needed to be able to “do that”. Jordan strives to embody the athlete, the artist, and the goddess in every dance. Her goal as an instructor is to help her students realize those same qualities in themselves. The journey through her Pole Dancing career has made her appreciate movement, especially in the form of free styling, heel clacks, and her signature sexy ballistic style. She also enjoys sharing her enthusiasm with her friends and students. She has met so many inspiring people within this community and is looking forward to meeting many more in the years to come.
Her Competitive Credits include: 2016 Pole Theatre Croatia: 1st Place Professional Classique, Professional Overall Champion, 2016 Pole Theatre Worlds Qualifier, Professional Division, 2015 PSO Pacifc Aerial Art Championship: Dramatic Professional - 3rd Place, 2015 Pole Theatre USA: 1st Place Professional Comedy Division, 3rd Place Overall & 2015 PSO Nationals: 2nd Place Professional Artistic Division. Wendy has been poling for 3 years & it has completely taken over her life! Since finding her passion in 2014 she has become a regular PoleShowLA performer, member of The Girl Next Door, & TCH Scholarship recipient and feels blessed with the opportunity to share the power of pole with other women and men.
Though having grown up with an extensive Performing Arts background (training in jazz, ballet, figure skating, chinese ribbon dance, hiphop, ballroom & marching band) Wendy always considered herself as a Dancer or Band Geek, but never an Athlete. Never aspiring to do a pull-up or human flag, Wendy was completely blown away with how Athletic & Powerful pole was on top of being emotive, graceful, & sensual.
Through training pole she has not only found her feminine voice, confidence & heels, but amazing health benefits & community as well. She loves learning, discovering, meeting new people & sharing her passion for pole with anyone with an open mind! You can find her at the studio teaching Pole.
Diana Nguyen walked into her first yoga class in 2003 with tennis shoes on and no expectations. By the time she rose from that first savasana, she knew she had touched something she never wanted to let go of, and embarked upon making yoga a lifelong practice and personal duty. Though initially delighted by reaching milestone #1--touching her toes--Diana soon discovered that the benefits of a yoga practice reached far beyond the physical, and considers yogic philosophy to be the lasso of her life. Though her heart beats on Pacific Coast time, Diana completed her 200-hr teacher training in New York with Master yogi Sri Dharma Mittra, and continues to teach and practice with the guidance of his mantra: "Be receptive." You can find Diana teaching Maha Yoga at the studio!
